This course is aimed at providing students with essential tools concerning:
jurisdiction in transnational litigation (with a focus on EU, Italian and English rules);
applicable law to international contracts;
enforcement of foreign judicial decisions;
international commercial arbitration (in brief).
The approach followed in the course will be based on an analysis of the cases which have been decided by the Court of Justice of the European Union, Italian courts and English courts, in order to see how judges concretely deal with the subject (that is extremely important in legal practice).
