The Course

What happens, when you need to deal with an online payment problem, discuss a loan or debt, ask for financial advice, or make an important long-term financial decision? And, more importantly, do these in English? It’s not easy.

Financial literacy is one of the key skills  in today’s global world. And English is often the common language not only for business but for online services, digital payments, customer support, and various  other financial decisions as well.

English for Financial Literacy B2 helps you develop the vocabulary, expressions, grammar and communicative strategies you need to handle real-life financial situations with greater clarity, confidence, and independence. Through realistic scenarios, practical dialogues, authentic texts, interactive activities, and conversations with our AI tutor, you will practice talking about online shopping, secure payments, consumer rights, asking for a loan, credit and debt, investments and long-term financial goals.

What you will learn:

  • how to participate in communication tasks relating to online shopping, such as comparing products and services, handling delivery problems, discussing refund and return policies, and helping others shop more safely online.
  • describe online scams and report crimes
  • discuss consumer rights, legal protections, and ethical issues related to credit, lending, and banking practices
  • participate in practical financial communication tasks such as applying for a loan.
  • talk about major life decisions related to finance, retirement, and future security
